1What we do
Five Star Front builds a website for your local business using your publicly available business information and your real Google reviews, hosts it, registers a web address (domain) for it, and keeps it running — all for one flat monthly subscription.
We build the page from facts that are already public. We do not invent reviews, ratings, awards, prices, or claims about your business — if it isn't in your public information, it doesn't go on the site unless you give it to us.
2Billing & your subscription
- The service is $99 per month, billed automatically to your payment method through our payment processor (Stripe).
- It renews each month until you cancel. There is no long-term contract — you can cancel anytime.
- Prices may change in the future; we'll give you reasonable notice before any change affects you.
- If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend the site until payment is current (see §4).
3Cancelling, and what happens to your site
You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your subscription stays active through the end of the period you've already paid for, and then your site and its domain are taken offline (suspended). If you come back, we can usually turn it back on.
4Your domain (web address)
We register and pay for your domain as part of your subscription, and it points to your site for as long as you subscribe. The domain stays registered to us — that's how we're able to include it at no extra cost. It is part of the service and is not transferred to you automatically. If you ever want to take the domain with you, contact us and we'll work with you to arrange a transfer.
If your subscription ends for any reason, the domain may be allowed to expire or be released. We are not responsible for keeping a domain registered after your subscription stops.
4aYour website
The website we build — including its design, templates, and code — is our property and is licensed to you for use only while your subscription is active. Your own business information (your name, address, phone, hours, and your Google reviews) remains yours. If your subscription ends, your right to use the website ends, and the website may be taken offline.
5Refunds
Because you can cancel anytime and stop all future charges, we do not provide refunds for the current billing month. If something went wrong on our end, email us — we want you happy and will make it right where we reasonably can.
6Who can claim a site, and your responsibilities
- By subscribing for a business, you confirm that you own or are authorized to represent that business. Buying a subscription is not proof of ownership, and we may verify it before honoring changes to a site's contact details.
- You're responsible for making sure the information you give us (phone, hours, services, etc.) is accurate and that you have the right to use it.
- You authorize us to register a domain on your behalf and to display your business's public information and Google reviews on the site we build, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your business name, logo, and any content you provide to us, solely to build, host, maintain, and promote your site while your subscription is active.
7Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- break the law, or promote illegal, deceptive, or fraudulent activity;
- impersonate a business you don't own or aren't authorized to represent;
- publish content that is hateful, harassing, infringing, or otherwise harmful;
- interfere with, probe, or abuse our systems or other customers' sites.
We may suspend or remove a site that violates these terms, ideally after letting you know.
8Your content & reviews
The customer quotes and ratings shown on your site are drawn from your business's real Google reviews. By subscribing, you confirm that the customer quotes and ratings shown on your site are genuine feedback from your customers, and you authorize their display on your site. We rely on Google's data and are not responsible for its accuracy. You can ask us to update or remove information on your site, and we may decline or remove content that violates these terms or a third party's rights.
9Availability & disclaimers
We work hard to keep sites online but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the extent allowed by law.
10Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages such as lost profits or lost business.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
12Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
